Fresh Vegetables

New Zealand’s mild climate is ideally suited for growing a wide range of vegetables. Among these, carrots grow particularly well. In the South Island of New Zealand, near the foot hills of the Southern Alps, at a place called Hororata, organic carrots grow extremely well. Types such as Chantenay and Nantees flourish.

 

Packaging

Carrots are washed, graded and hydro cooled before being packed into a 20kg cardboard box with a plastic liner.

Availability

Harvesting starts in May and continues on until September.
